Chrome's own eyedropper, which is the only thing that can read a pixel inside an image, a canvas or a video. No amount of stylesheet reading gets you a colour out of a photograph.

What you get

Any pixel on screen: Including inside images, canvas, video and anything else that paints rather than declares.
Three formats: Hex, rgb or oklch, whichever you set in settings.
Straight to the clipboard: The readout confirms what was copied.

How to use it

Press Alt+Shift+P, then C.
Click any pixel on the screen.
The value is on your clipboard.

What it will not do

It uses the browser's own eyedropper, so it is available where that is: Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc.
A colour sampled from a photograph is a pixel, not a token. For the palette behind the page, use the design system view.
